Nanu is co-founded by Kurt Kung and Seth Connell, and operates out of the lab/office in Everett, WA. Just two humans trying to change how the world thinks about the power of water in industry. Building on a previous working relationship in sustainable agriculture we logically focused on how nanobubbles impact agriculture as our first market. After successful pilots and going to market in 2023 Nanu has snowballed into this multi-faceted business tackling very profound projects across multiple verticals. Kurt Kung | CEO
Boasting an MBA and dual PhD’s in nanotechnology and electrical engineering from the University of Washington, Kurt brings a deep understanding of technology to Nanu. He is impact driven, results oriented, and has over 8 years as a seasoned entrepreneur at the founder level. Being the youngest recipient of the Husky Green Award from UW is a symbol of his commitment to a clean future. His self care regiment of yoga, snowboarding, and cycling keeps Kurt in good form, guiding Nanu forward.
Seth Connell | CTO
As a CEA industry veteran and construction professional with over a decade of business development experience, Seth brings a unique skillset to the table. His passion for engineering custom technical solutions and penchant for innovating operational processes has fueled Nanu’s consistent growth. With a climate-tech focus, he’s molded our ESG strategy and set us on a path toward a cleaner future with impactful products. His spare time finds him playing rec league soccer, cooking, and hiking with his wife and daughter.
